Formerly known as The Redesdale Arms, our pub has stood proudly on Moreton-in-Marsh’s High Street since at least 1661, welcoming locals and visitors alike to gather, dine, and unwind in the heart of this charming Cotswold town.
In the summer of 2025, The Redesdale became the newest addition to the Honeycomb Houses family, joining a collection of 11 individually styled pubs. Since then, we have carefully reimagined every aspect of this idyllic inn, honouring its rich heritage while thoughtfully incorporating contemporary features to ensure the perfect balance of historic charms and modern cosiness. After months of refurbishment, we are delighted to reintroduce The Redesdale to our beloved regulars and new guests who just recently discovered us.
Pub & Dining Areas
The pub and dining areas have been thoughtfully refreshed, with our design team carefully reimagining each space. Bespoke artwork, beautiful furnishings, and contemporary rustic touches have been introduced to complement The Redesdale's rich heritage, while maintaining a warm, welcoming atmosphere makes you feel just at home.
Our garden terrace has also been transformed into a more tranquil outdoor retreat. Whether you're joining us for a lunch in the sunshine or settling in for dinner and drinks on a long summer evening, it's the perfect place to relax under open skies.
Looking for something a little more intimate? Our new Snug offers a cosy hideaway away from the bustle of the main pub and dining areas, ideal for quiet catch-ups or relaxed gatherings. For those special occasions, our new Private Dining Room provides an exclusive setting, designed for memorable celebrations with family, friends, or colleagues.

Historic charm, honoured and restored.
The Redesdale has a long and storied history, and the bones of it still tell that story. The inglenook fireplaces, the exposed timbers, the worn flagstones are the details that make a Cotswolds inn feel like a Cotswolds inn. Where time had taken its toll, we've restored sympathetically, letting the history breathe rather than papering over it. This is a building that has earned its character over at least three and a half centuries, and we have no intention of losing it.
What you'll find when you walk through the door is a place that feels simultaneously cared for and completely itself. That's not an accident.
